Genie N. Gertz 2007 – A native of St. Petersburg (known as Leningrad during the Soviet era), Genie Gertz (known popularly as “GG”) emigrated to the United States with her family when she was 8, and grew up in New York.
A native of St. Gallaudet University announced that Dr. Genie Gertz was recently appointed Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS). Gertz, a Gallaudet alumnus, most recently served as Dean of the Deaf Studies Division at Ohlone College in Fremont, Calif.
